Who can study at our school?

We welcome children, teens and adults who want to learn a foreign language for study, career development, travel or confident communication.

Before you begin, you’ll take a free one-to-one placement test. It helps us assess your current level and recommend the right programme.

What materials do you use?

We use current course materials from leading British publishers, including Oxford University Press, Macmillan, Pearson and Cambridge University Press. Our teachers also add original resources tailored to each student’s level, needs and learning goals.

Can I choose my teacher?

Yes, provided your level and preferred lesson times match the teacher’s group schedule.

For one-to-one lessons, your choice of teacher depends on their current availability.

Do I need to do homework?

Yes. Homework is an important part of the programme.

You use the material you study independently in practical activities during your next lesson. This helps new vocabulary stick, reinforces grammar and develops your speaking skills.

We use the Communicative Approach. Its main purpose is to help you use English actively and confidently in real-life situations.

Doing homework regularly makes your learning more effective and helps you overcome the language barrier sooner.

Will every student get enough attention in a group lesson?

Absolutely. Our groups have no more than six students.

Lessons are student-centred, so every learner takes an active role. Students work in pairs, create dialogues, join discussions, answer questions and complete practical tasks.

What qualifications do your teachers have?

Our teachers have university degrees in education or linguistics, as well as international certificates confirming their professional qualifications.

How many students are in a group?

There are no more than six students in a group, giving the teacher enough time and attention for everyone.

What format are the lessons?

All lessons take place online, so you can study anywhere with a stable internet connection.

How much do lessons cost?

You can find current prices for group and one-to-one lessons in the Pricing section of our website.

Can a student follow their school textbook?

This is available in one-to-one lessons only. The teacher can follow the student’s school curriculum, help them understand the material and prepare for tests.

How does preparation for international exams work?

Preparation has two connected strands.

The first raises your overall English level and develops every core skill: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The second familiarises you with the chosen exam: its task types, assessment criteria, effective strategies and time management.

This approach prepares you for the exam structure while genuinely improving your English.

Can siblings study together if they are different ages or levels?

No. For lessons to be effective, students in a group need to be close in age and English level.

If the difference in age or level is significant, we recommend separate groups or one-to-one lessons.

How long does it take to move up one language level?

Cambridge English estimates that moving up one full CEFR level can take around 200 guided learning hours. The actual time depends on your starting level, lesson intensity, previous experience and independent practice.

At Fluency Way, we determine programme length after your placement test. The number of lessons is a guide, not a guaranteed outcome: progress also depends on regular attendance and completing homework.
