Choose your goal and start learning English with Fluency Way.
When we build your programme, we consider your starting level, learning needs and desired outcome. Whether you need English for work, travel, relocation, an international exam or confident communication, your lessons will have the right focus.
Your age and previous experience do not matter. At Fluency Way, you can start from scratch, strengthen the English you already have, expand your vocabulary and gradually overcome the language barrier.

What to know about learning at Fluency Way
Level assessment
Before your course begins, you take a placement test. It shows your current level and helps us choose a programme that matches your abilities and goals.
We teach complete beginners as well as students who have studied English before and want to keep progressing.
English levels
Our programmes cover the main language levels:
A1 Beginner — beginner level
A2 Elementary — elementary level
B1 Intermediate — intermediate level
B2 Upper-Intermediate — upper-intermediate level
C1 Advanced — advanced level.
The length of your course depends on your starting level, lesson intensity, homework and the amount of extra practice you do.
A standard Fluency Way learning cycle usually includes 74–76 lessons. This is our internal programme length, not a universal guarantee of completing a full CEFR level; B2+ and C1 often require more time and independent practice.

How a lesson is structured
Each lesson is shaped by the student’s level, programme and goals, but it may include several core stages.
English by ear
A world you can hear
Conversations, podcasts and real-life situations build listening skills in context.
02
Language warm-up — 5 minutes
Your teacher opens with a short conversation in English. This helps you settle into the lesson, activate familiar vocabulary and move naturally into the main topic.
Review and language focus — 15 minutes
You revisit familiar structures, examine common mistakes and explore a new grammar point.
Grammar goes straight into examples, dialogues and speaking tasks. You learn not just to remember a rule, but to use it in practice.
Listening, reading and vocabulary — 20 minutes
You work with audio or video, learn new words and expressions, practise pronunciation and discuss what you heard with your teacher or classmates.
Guided speaking practice — 20 minutes
You use new vocabulary and grammar in dialogues, role plays and topic-based discussions.
You learn to express your views, ask questions, support an argument and keep a conversation going.
Communication task or authentic material — 10 minutes
You may watch clips from films, series or other videos, retell what happened and discuss the characters’ behaviour.
These tasks expose you to natural English, help modern expressions stick and reveal how people really speak.
Consolidation and homework — 10 minutes
At the end of the lesson, you review new vocabulary and grammar, answer questions and complete short practical exercises.
The principles behind our lessons
Our lessons do not follow a rigid template. The teacher can adjust the order and length of each stage to your level, pace and learning needs.
During communicative stages, students do most of the speaking and interacting. The teacher guides the conversation, explains new material, corrects mistakes constructively and helps turn new knowledge into active English.
Our main focus is on speaking, listening comprehension and confident communication.
In paired and group lessons, students work together, create dialogues, discuss topics and complete communication tasks. This increases speaking time and helps you become comfortable with different conversation partners.

Frequently asked questions
How is my English level assessed?
Before you begin, you take a placement test covering vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and other language skills.
We use the results to determine your current level and recommend the right programme.
Do I need a placement test if I have never studied English?
Yes. Even a short assessment helps the teacher understand your needs and plan your learning effectively from the very first lesson.
Will I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes. After successfully completing the programme, you receive a digital certificate stating the level you have achieved.
Does Fluency Way offer one-to-one lessons?
Yes. We offer one-to-one online lessons with a personalised programme.
Your teacher works with you alone, adapting the pace, schedule and course content to your goals.
Can I start from scratch?
Yes. We have programmes for students who have never studied English or only know the basics.
How many students are in a group?
Groups have no more than four students, allowing the teacher to support everyone and provide plenty of active speaking practice.
Are lessons taught in Ukrainian?
Most of the lesson is in English. When needed, the teacher can explain a difficult point in Ukrainian, especially at beginner levels.
Is there homework?
Yes. Homework helps you review the material, consolidate vocabulary and grammar, and prepare for active work in the next lesson.
Can I change my lesson schedule?
This depends on your lesson format, the teacher’s schedule and available places in groups. Rescheduling terms for one-to-one lessons are agreed separately.
